The engineering job family at Verax Systems includes:

• Junior Software Engineer: Participation in all cycles of software development with focus on implementation, unit testing and automated system testing. Reporting to project leader. Broadening technical skills and expanding professional experience in order to reach the intermediate level.
• (Intermediate) Software Engineer: Participation in all cycles of software development with focus on implementation and unit testing. Reporting to project leader. Broadening technical skills and expanding professional experience. Growing team leadership skills for small teams (up to four members). Broadening skills to perform small, detailed design pieces of work. Mentoring junior developers.
• Senior Software Engineer: Participating in every stage of software development with focus on team leadership. Carrying out IT systems designing and architecture tasks. Project management skills.
• Senior Software Engineer 8+: Specialized technical expert responsible for shape standards, company growth strategy and exercise care for junior team members. Minimum of 8 years experience in designing and implementation of complex IT systems.

The consulting job family at Verax Systems includes:

• Junior Technical Consultant: Participation in all cycles of project delivery with focus on on-site work. Reporting to project leader. Broadening technical skills and expanding professional experience. Expanding domain experience. Improvement of customer interaction and communication, customer management, issue management and other skills.
• (Intermediate) Technical Consultant: Participation in every stage of project, focusing on delivery. Focus on analysis and delivery (implementation in most cases). Mentoring junior consultants. Reporting to project leader. Broadening technical skills and expanding professional experience. Expanding domain experience. Improvement of customer interaction and communication, customer management, issue management and other skills.
• Senior Technical Consultant: Participation in all cycles of project delivery with focus on on-site work. Ability to liaise with Customers' middle-level management. Ability to manage a small team of consultants (resolve issues, mitigate risks, etc.). Close collaboration with customers in order to determine functional specifications. Creation of low level and smaller high level solution designs.
• Senior Technical Consultant 8+: Specialized technical expert responsible for consultancy, evaluation and selection of the best software solution to satisfy Customer requirements. Ability to liaise with Customers' top and executive management.

The following project management functions are set up per each project:

• Project Team Leader: responsible for team line-management, schedule and deliverables.
• Technical Leader: responsible for making technical design decisions in the project.
